I am regularly commissioned to devise site specific storytelling for historic houses, museums and other more unusual locations.

I have been commissioned to devise performances for venues including Windsor Castle, Valentines Mansion (London Borough of Redbridge), Fulham Palace (London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham), Christchurch Mansion (Ipswich) and Hollytrees House (Colchester). I use the lives of the characters who have lived in the buildings to create original historical stories.

I recently devised an original performance for one of the first family days at the London Charterhouse, exploring the time Queen Elizabeth I spent there and her relationship with the mysterious John Dee.

Another recent commission was to devise and perform a site-specific story for the Tudor kitchens at Hampton Court Palace.

I researched and devised a performance in the character of Annie Horniman, daughter of Frederick Horniman, founder of the Horniman Museum, as well as founder of theatres in Dublin and Manchester. This performance explores her childhood and the museum's origins along with elements of mystery and folklore. I was further commissioned by the museum in 2012 to redevelop this story as an outdoor performance for the launch of the redeveloped Horniman Gardens, bringing in a wide variety of plant folklore and stories.

I have also devised a story performance for the character of Boudicca, Queen of the Celts. Originally commissioned by Colchester Castle Museum, it is also performed at the Museum of London and Verulamium Museum.

Museums have commissioned site-specific storytelling performances to accompany temporary exhibitions. I devised and performed a candlelit tour of the Amongst Heroes exhibition of Cornish art at Two Temple Place, responding to the paintings with Cornish myths and legends. For Fact Into Fiction - Charles Dickens: a Southwark Childhood at the Cuming Museum I created a family story that explored Dickens' childhood and the influence this had on his writing. At the Horniman Museum, I responded to the Myths and Monsters exhibition with a site-specific story tour, bringing to life some of the myths and stories associated with objects and animals in the museum's collection.
